LOL well technically he used deadly force because he socked her in the face which is a red area lol...non lethal consists of oc, taser (you were correct), and additionally baton strikes to green areas/joint manipulation. any strikes to a red area (face/head, spine, kidneys, groin, elbow, knee) are considered deadly force. deadly force consists of death OR serious bodily harm.
the only reason i made that rant was its actually something i deal with on a daily basis and it's part of my job (sorry for coming off like a know-it-all)
cop was justified though because their temper and intent showed anger and agression AND their hands were near his weapon multiple times!!!!!!!! so legally he could have jumped right to deadly force if he had wanted to. J3123MY you sir are a mongoloid...you don't know what your talking about and i'm kinda embarassed for you. i suppose he should have tasered/pepper sprayed her? I unlike you speak from experience and say it was nicer of him to punch her than taser or pepper spray her. but he knew that and was actually doing the least painful method to subdue a violent aggressor...unorthodox maybe...but it worked.
