My friends and I have discovered a few friendship ending Mario games on his Wii U.

First is Super Mario U, up to 4 players and a fifth can play as "God" with the screen game pad, having the ability to put platforms down to help access areas. However, we figured that wouldn't be as fun as trying to kill each other in a race to the end. So u have everyone in game trying to pick u up and throw you off the level, blocking you, shells flying at you. Then you have God basically shoving platforms in your face as u try to jump, blocking access to tubes and mushrooms etc. Most fun my boys and I have had in years. Add in alcohol and shit gets nuts. Definitely try this if u have a Wii u.

Second is some mini game in Nintendo land. Its basically tag, and its surprisingly fun, can't believe its never really been done before. The one who's being chased has the pad and the ability to see the whole map and where the chasers are coming from and looking. U got 2 min to evade them. Simple in.concept but good lord is it fun. Oh and the game pads camera is always on and projected onto the TV for the chasers to see. Which just adds to the frustration and hilarity. Watching your friend visibly taunt you as he evades you in game almost cause a fistfight the other night. Ahhhh such good times.
