It will be in shelter 2, and people from ALL directions in the Carolinas (and perhaps VA) will be meeting along the way for caravans in to the park.
I am lucky enough to live 6 miles from the park, so I am not afflicted with such issue...

biggie - so contact him to let him know you're planning to be in attendance and what you might be willing to bring if so.
This is a 3-month lead in, so there is little excuse to flake on the tenets of having planned poorly.
