My car had major idle issues, and a shop talked me into buying a PFC so they could tune it out.... didn't work.
1 year later, i just figured out my idle issue. this is what was wrong...
-Bad Throttle position sensor (4 days to figure out)
-Bad Mass air flow sensor (1 day to figure out)
-Improperly installed camshafts (1 year to figure out)
and the car never threw a single code. wtf?
anyway, in the diagnosis process i re-did the entire engine wiring harness, when i removed the wires for the maf and ran wires for a MAP sensor and an IAT sensor (d-jetro doesn't use a maf)and wrapped the whole thing back up as one. Basically my harness is only set up to run a power FC D-Jetro, I cant just plug in my stock ecu and go.
advice?
