I'm not 100% sure about the radiator support, but I believe this is necessary to bolt on the headlights and keep the bumper in place, while having the fenders in tack.....i think <img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/huh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':huh:'>
As for modifying, I have no idea......did u ask VIS what they meant by that?
