and for clarification, the warranty states that if the VDC is turned off, the warranty is void. it doesnt state anything about the LC. so as soon as the VDC goes off, so does your warranty.

It's not like that at all.
That's like saying it's absolutely necessary to use launch control and to turn off VDC to drive the car. It's not so much that Nissan doesn't want you to use it, it's that Nissan doesn't want to have to repair/replace parts/entire GT-Rs due to abuse.
Owners know what will void the warranty and (should) know the risks of beating on the transmission like that.
