the transmission is in need of a rebuilt ... my Buddy gave it to me
it's from is 450whp z33 (second gear wasnt going in past 3500rpm , the rest was ok)
since i dont have a transmission for my set-up and was going to go with a z32 .... i decided to rebuilt this one and run a 6 speed on the ve :P
took everything appart to check whats wrong with the second gear ...
i though i only had to change the second gear and baulk ring ... but since im all ready there ... 3 and 4 would need a change too . in those pics you clearly see the syncro on the second gear side they are all shape on a diagonal ( / ) and not like the should be like an *Arrow*( ^ )
at the local dealer ship here in canada , i have for 1200$ of parts to buy ... i looked around on the net and 550 + shiping from the usa to my house !!!
not to bad for a free transmission . i could try to just change the second gear but i dont feel like doing this again cause its a pita !!!!!!
