No disrespect intended, but the video had no flow, in my opinion. A few years back, when I first caught wind of the whole Parkour thing, and saw that french dude spidermanning it up the cement playground wall thing and then jumping off of it, I was like "damn..." However, what made that guy great in my eyes is that when he was running around, jumping over stairs and shit, he wasn't doing the showboaty, flamboyant crap that I see on TV and in the video you posted. The guy I saw had an almost fluid motion from one end of where he was to where he was going, and wasn't double-, tripple- or quadruple-backing just to do another spin flip.
I was always under the impression that Parkour was becoming aware of the space you're in, and becoming the quickest and most efficient at moving through that space.
And apparently good Parkour is accompanied by terrible music... But This is what I'm getting at.. fluid motion from one point to another, no need for showoff maneuvers.
