Really, this is all a moot point because I said that the methods of deleting the cannister are only limited to the ingenuity of the person doing the work... I did it a certain way, and passed off the safety concerns I had with respect to anyone who may read it.
Irregardless, my method of deleting the evap system is clean & effective; and in the end, that's all that should matter..
