because grunt is a title thats earned man. unless you are part of an infantry rifle platoon, your not a grunt. we are very closely knit and anyone thats not an 03xx (infantry mos) will never be accepted as a grunt. its two totally different lifestyles man, easily the roughest/most demanding job in the marine corps.
GRANTED: in my opinion and everyone i know, arty/tanks/light armored recon are the least pog of pog jobs and ALMOST infantry, so even though your pog's your alright in our book because you deal with most of the same shit.
