I believe this should work just fine as a turbo timer does pretty much the same thing with the ACC and ON wires, by piggybacking off the IGN's 12v constant

Wait, does ON have power during cranking?
Now that I think about it, if the car shuts off when the turbo timer cuts power to the ON wire, the car won't start without power to ON?
I would go check with a multimeter but it's late and car is loud
