I used to be a waiter, it was so easy. I normally got 15% or more depending how rich the people at my table were

I try to tip about the same, at least 10%, I'll give more if the server is awesome.

I think some people bring shitty service onto themself though. Say please and thank you when you are ordering and you will probably get better service.
