You know how I felt watching the Battle of Winterfell episode? It felt like the first time watching Full Metal Alchemist, thinking "Hey this is good, but something doesn't feel right..." Only to find out later it was all filler that paled in comparison to the finished source material.
I'm gonna have to read the books now when Martin finishes them, because, while that episode was cool, I'm pretty dissatisfied with how that played out.

Who TF puts their mounted calvarymen in the front line in front of their foot soldiers?!? Should have had what was left of the wildlings and Winterfell forces up front with the Unsullied behind them. Let the Dothraki flank and contain the wights from the sides while the Dragons decimate the middle of the horde...
And the Night's King's White Walker generals? WTF was their point? All that time spent revealing that they were different from normal Wights because they were Craster's inbred bastards that were turned while they were still living babies and they didn't do JACK SHIT in the end but let Arya run right past them...lol
I can't believe we waited 8 seasons for this and it's all over in a single episode. I was expecting them to roll over Winterfell and for them to push right up to King's Landing's doorstep. What happened to the prophecy of Azor Ahai, the prince who was promised being reborn, using Lightbringer to vanquish the Night's King? smh
