1, i was going to recommend running hubcentric spacers with attached studs rather than extended studs (and then i kept reading)

i ran 20mm spacers... but i cannot remember if the stock studs were completely flush (or under) the spacer. plus, my wheels DID have 'those recesses.'

one way to figure this out is to go out to your car, safely raise your car up, remove the wheel, and measure (with a ruler, etc) from the hub to the end of the (stock) stud. then convert from inches to metric. if its under 20mm, should work.
