Look up the wiring diagram for which ever SR20 you have. IIRC, there are 2 power wires on the harness that the PFC needs to have to work properly. The stock ECU only needs one of those 12v to work. I had the same issue with one of my SR, ended splicing the 12v source together and it worked on my last SR.
