What were you filing and why? All you have to do is
-Unbolt output shafts from axles (6 bolts on each side)
-Remove open diff pumpkin (4 on front two up top)
-Remove axles (one bigass 26mm nut on the hubs)
-Install new axles (reverse of removing old ones)
-Install new pumpkin (reverse of removal)
thats it. Why are you filing things? It fits right in. I did one last week... you know dvdevo (David) dont you? If you need help installing it, give him a call and tell him to give me a ride to DC.
