West, I think simple is the best.  Especially with cars like ours.  gud choice.  

About them needles...Can you please post the steps.  I have the same car as urs.  If you could add details like where you had difficulty i.e.  I hear taking the needles off are a [email protected]#$% that would be wonderful.
