Why would I not?
I no longer have A/C, so if one of the valves really does control for just that then there is one gone. If the other is primarily for cold start and I am able to tune in more correction from the other valve and play with fueling to help correct for that missing then there goes another.
There are plenty of cars that drive and behave very close to oem which have had tons of factory stuff removed. Hell even the AEM manual only discusses controlling idle through a single valve.
