I already replaced the high pressure hose.
I think the hose that is leaking right now is the rubber hose from the passenger-side hard line to the power steering reservoir. Is that the power steering return hose?
Could someone explain to me how the power steering system works?
From my understanding, the high pressure hose goes from the pump to the power steering gear and linkage at the bottom driver-side (I replaced this with high pressure stainless steel line from
http://www.fujiispl.com/fujiispl.com..._Products.html). The hard lines goes from driver-side to passenger-side of the steering rack. Then, the passenger-side hard line connects to the rubber hose that connects to the power steering reservoir. There is also a rubber hose that goes from the power steering reservoir to the pump (in case the pump needs extra power steering fluid).
Am I correct?
