well, alot of good points made in this thread...
my first car was an 89 240sx when i was 16, i had NO idea what a 240 was or meant, had no i dea what drifting was(never watched tokyo drift), nor did i care..it was my first car and i fell in love with it..
began to look shit up and eventually found out what i had been driving around, from then on i wanted to drift and build my car on my own to get to that level..took classes, read books, visiting junkyards..i eventually learned how cars actually work and was blown away by motors..
thats where i built my love for science and overall technology..from then on i eventually just loved learning in general, learning about anything and everything..
i now attend Cal-State Long Beach majoring in aerospace engineering and plan on joining the airforce after i earn my bachelors in science..now that i look back i probably wouldnt be where i am today if i had gotten any other car and wouldnt know what i do today..
so yeah im glad im into the 240 "scene"
enough of how i got into this crap, heres my
on drifting..
i havent done it yet, so i cant say if its stupid or not..but it looks fun and everyone i have spoken to about it says its fun..i want to try it cuz im the type of person who loves excitement and trying new things, so until i will continue to get my car ready..ive met some of the dopest people since ive gotten in this "scene", and loo forward to meeting more, ive learned alot, and i look forward to learning more..
this thread will be based on pure opinion..some like it some dont..but i dont think you should say something is stupid or not without truely understanding the other side or even trying it...
