89 Hatch, no tachometer, no reverse lights
As the title says, my tach is not working. My car is a factory 5 speed and a ka24e. I recently just fixed my speedometer to get it to move and work, but I still don't have a tach. I've been looking thru wiring diagrams and the fsm, but I'm still unsure of where to start looking for an issue. My car is rough so I wouldn't put it past a stupid broken wire or something somewhere. Where does the tach get it signal from? I know there's a pin for it on the ecu if I'm not mistaken.
As for the reverse lights, I purchased a new sensor, as my old one had no wiring left on it. I tested it outside the car by pushing on the button on the switch, and it turned the reverse lamps on, but after installing it, with KOEOFF and KOEON the reverse lamps don't turn on when the car is in reverse.
Any input would be appreciated pointing me in a direction for either issue.
