You guys should try Motul 5w 30. Their 8100 full synthetic. 5 qt jug is around $45.

Whenever I have ran Mobil 1 or Purple I lose a qt per 500 miles in my 03 VQ.

I can bounce off the rev limiter all day with Motul and never lose a drop.
