my previous job was for an online joint trying to stablish a webcam community
they brought in a bunch of USC hipsters/film guys to do web production
they asked for and bought mac workstations
nothing but headaches
- they had problems talking to the networks, had to get their own
- their version of Quicktime wouldn't work with the rest of the company's
- lot of problems talking from Avid systems to their Final Cut Pro stuff
basically they worked well as long as they didn't have to interact with the rest of the world
only reason I would get one is because I have the option to run Windows.
