I don't want to be rude, but ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

If you want me to pay you for gas money, do you also want me to pay for your hotel?  Or your food?  While I'm at it, why not I just go get a trailer, pick up you and your car, and DRIVE you to California and give you the royal treatment.

If you can't afford to make it, you can't make it.  I might not even break even on the event (I might even lose money out of my own pocket), and you want me to spot you for your gas?  Geez.

No one else is complaining about gas.
