Thanks for the info. I was going to use an old ecu to steal a pin out of... just have to find it lol.

Just to update, I grounded the MAF sensor ground wire to the chassis and the car seems to run fine. I have read about regounding the MAF, but I just want to know what the ecu does with the MAF ground.
