The rims were stolen from a house, since the thieves broke into it. The only major things stolen was the set of rims. The house was an investment property and mostly had storage items in it. I reported them stolen on Thursday morning and by Saturday morning, they were for sale on Craigslist. I called the local police and they wanted to set up a "sting" operation. Before the meeting I had to show proof that they were my set. Old pictures, receipts or any markings that cannot be reproduced. Almost like fingerprints, but scratches, dents or curb marks work as well. The thief had no valid driver license, no insurance and I think the gf gave him up, because she was balling after they questioned her. I got the rims at that same moment and he went to jail. As to the outcome, I'm waiting to see still.
