Hello! sorry I can't find enough information and it looks like you guys can help me!
I have an Almera 2002, I need to replace the ECU, my ECU number is MEC20-680A1 2204 (6Q); and I found a very convenient one with a car with same characteristics but it is not 2002 it is 2001. Yet, the ECU number is MEC20-680A1 1706 (6Q);
the question I guess is, how equal do the numbers have to be? Some mechanics are telling us that the last 4 numbers don't matter, others that not even the part number can guarantee compatibility and I don't know what to do :O :O :'(
