hey i was just woundering how many members are in kelowna

Dont have a 240 yet, but Im hunting for one....
want a 95-98

ya i've only seen 2 s14's in town, so your best bet is get one in van

I was probably going to get one from the US, as they are alot cheaper south of the border, will be doing a driveline swap right away and kouki kit with flares, basically rebuilding the whole car so I just need a clean, straight shell....

Mine's been to Kelowna many times...

One of the oldschool original members has a pretty quick SR20DET powered S13. He did the swap a few years ago, way before the majority of north america even knew what SR20 was.

nice, thats a sweet site wish i would of knew about it before and i could of read about local stuff. I'm only 16 thow so i cant drive yet,but i got my s13 with just the interior done and stereo but im woking towards megan racing coilovers and later wheels im leaning to the 5zigen gn+.

do you have 5 lug conversion cuz gn+ is not available in 4x114.3

I'm in kelowna too. I got an 89 that Im working on. If anybody has got any parts that they're wanting to get rid of let me know. I picked up my car and it wasn't running. What I thought was just a little fix, is starting to worry me a whole lot more.

What do you figure whats wrong with it? Also when you figure it will be on the road?

I'm not totaly sure. All my ideas as to what's wrong have been thrown out the window. Originally, I thought it was the head gasket, pulled the head off and the gasket was mint, then I thought the read might be messed, rad's in good shape, so I've come to think the head or block is cracked. As for when I get it on the road, as soon as I get myself an engine.

that sucks, i recomend if you have the spare cash to get the sr20det.There is a shop in van that sells them for 3500 i believe, there site is www.cannonball-r.com. You could also go to www.northwestnissans.com, and go threw the classifieds, guys are always selling ka's and chances are they will be close to get. Hope that helps

Yea thanks dude. I'm on a low budjet right now, just trying to get it going. I found a KA24E that I might just put in it, then turn around and sell it, so I can pick up a DE. I want to go with a DE and turbo it myself. It'll be a lot cheaper then going with an SR and still make enough power. What do you drive?
There's a silver S13 240 in town, I saw it the other day with TIEN stickers over the front fenders that's turboed here in town, have you seen it? Is the guy who owns it on here? Anybody know what he's got in it? I saw it on thursday at autocross, and he was just taking off and all we heard was BOV. Very nice IMO. Totaly under the radar!!

lol you got to autocross too, i go there once and a while, i have a 1990 tan s13 thats stock right now cuz i got no money, ya i have seen that s13 in rutland it looks so nice. I have never heard of him being on zilvia thow. When are you gonna be at autocross next? what will you be driving?

Im from kelowna. I got followed by a couple of s13's a few months ago.. not sure if you guys remember me. I know theres a couple of 240sx that look almost identical to mine in town. My car is currently off the road though due to my s14 SR20DET engine swap. I got it started 'n all but I have kinda ran out of cash and can't replace my blown t28 turbo since I am in school. I am aiming for next summer though.

But ya.. if any of you ktown boys need some parts or help with your swap, Im sure I can give a hand or so if I have time. All I can say that the s14 SR20DET swap was not as easy as everyone said it was going to be. Wiring was a bitch so beware and have about $3000 incase of problems. Maybe they were talking about the s13 SR.

Other than that, agreed that Kelowna has some fine ass women. Its a shame they are all snobby bitches though. F*** em and leave em

Paco.. is that you mike with the wrx? If so, you should buy my KA24E off of me or just parts. I'll give it to you cheap. You just need some new harnesses and such. Clutch is messed on it too, need to replace that for sure. Other than that, it has served me well.

there's a couple guys on Kelownacarlife.com that have 240's They're drifters though... so they're a little "different" hahaha...
