Quite the descriptive post.

Do you want links of places that MAKE them or just images of cars with huge cartoon tits on them to look at?

Nissan2nr22 09-26-2016 09:31 AM

Dont really need links, just name of places that sell them, sorry i was typing this on my iphone earlier, its monday lol

Maybe next time you can at least spell check your title... unless you seriously thought that way the right way to spell that.

I still think cartoon tits all over the car would be cool.

This is pretty cool though. Way better than putting it on a car.

Get some local fuck boy who does stickers and buy a roll of this. http://www.ebay.com/itm/24-X-10yd-Wh...cAAOSwPc9W0-BQ

Make some shit in photoshop, throw into printing program. Do half of the height for one section being its only 2 feet wide and then print out the other half. Cut out whatever of the white background you dont want and just lay it on the car. Some local wrapping place will charge an arm and leg for anything custom down here. Probably just as much as a normal paint job if you want some loli on the side of your car.

you cant print on that type of vinyl... its plotter only

youre basically looking into vehicle wrapping. i design wraps for a living at my day job. youre going to need to find a wrap shop locally and either provide them with HIGH resolution (not some shit you find thats 640x480 in pixel size) artwork of your favorite anime stuff, or you will need to pay (yes PAY, we dont do shit for free and getting paid in exposure doesnt pay the bills) someone to trace the artwork out in vector format so its clean and can be resized according to the vehicle (also if die cutting, this will provide proper cut lines). once the artwork is designed, and depending on how everything is laid out, you will need to pay their team to wrap your vehicle if you want it to turn out right. unless you have working knowledge of how to lay vehicle wrap vinyl and the tools to do so properly... you WILL fuck it up and flush your money down the toilet.

that Chaser in the original post probably ran close to $1800-$2000 to properly design and wrap. vehicle wraps (when designed and installed by a reputable shop) are NOT cheap, doesnt matter if its some little dinky anime character or a full coverage wrap. be prepared to get what you pay for in the situation. if someone offers to design, print and wrap your car for $500... its going to be a pile of shit and waste of money when all is said and done (not to mentioned theyre using vinyl that WILL ruin your paint).

Yeah I noticed I linked the wrong one. But there is 3m scotchcal clear film you can get to use with any inkjet printer and DIY in a way though it wont be up to par as the original picture. Think that one you have to buy through an actual distributor.

dorkidori_s13 09-26-2016 05:20 PM

not being a dick, but ignore everything that was just said by R3B... everything in that sentence was incorrect.

printing on clear vinyl is NOT the option you are looking for in any way whatsoever. printing on a clear does have its applications, but on vehicles is NOT it.

Malik 09-26-2016 05:51 PM

the hard part is getting the graphics you want to put on the car.

what anime are you thinking about

Teddy Bruckshot 09-26-2016 06:02 PM

Most likely you will have to find an artist to retrace the image as vector art in illustrator. Unless you can do it yourself

Yeah im no expert and just thinking more as the same process as those guys who sell stickers at meets vs professionally wrapped with hours of work in Illustrator. I would think a transparent back would be easier if you are trying to keep your original paint and not have to spend hours hand cutting or getting a machine to get all the background material out.

Most of the FD guys who get wraps do it all in one shot with background color and image vs car paint and then cutout image.

bigs 09-26-2016 06:58 PM

Just get a big sticker that says "copyright infringement" on the side of your car instead

contact elevens paint and fiber, they have a guy

Alexaat1994 09-27-2016 11:01 PM

Join the anime sticker central on Facebook theres a bunch of people on there who can help you get original content or whatever you want vectored out for a big wrap etc. just keep in mind it aint cheap especially since they have to take the time and redraw a character or make one up for you then either they print it or you get it printed somewhere else

Nissan2nr22 09-28-2016 06:44 AM

Thanks guys, there's hope on this forum, I'm glad to see there's more mature and helpful people on here than a bunch of overgrown men playing keyboard warriors.
