'89 S13 Silvia AC Issues
 

Anyone in here have an early model S13 Silvia that came with a CA? My AC took a dump and talking about ways to fix it with a Japanese mechanic isn't really helping. He's stumped and honestly would rather have me SR swap the whole fucking thing lol.

Do you guys have any insight into an adapter bracket to use an AC compressor from a later-year Silvia? Or maybe even an upgrade kit to swap out the whole system.

Any information would be helpful.

Has he diagnosed anything? What issue is he having with the CA stuff? Availability?

Yeah it's availability. The compressor is just old and bad...and not rebuild-able from what the mechanic is saying. Not sure if there's an adapter bracket to mount the SR AC compressor or what.
