What are peoples winter beaters?
 

Being that we live in the North East Im sure a majority of us are driving something else through the winter, typically I wait for something to fall in my lap, so now I'm the proud owner of a 1996 Nissan Altima, it has a salvage title and is tmu, but it is actually super clean (salvage is from hail damage), and it only set me back $450! Not to mention it'll take a sticker. So lets see what sleds people have.

i usually buy a different winter car every year at the last possible moment. past sleds were 88 nissan hardbody, 92 240 coupe, 91 cutty supreme, 97 nissan frontier.

2001 Volkswagen Jetta 2.SLOW.

So far this winter, I've had my 94 geo prizm, bought it early september with 94k on it for 700$, it is now only end of january and it has 137k. I did alternater, radiater and motor mounts. My bejing continental tires are now bald, and my shitty $13 brake pads are toast. I hate being a delivery guy, but then again this car makes me money.
