Starting a Trend....Sticky?!.....Exhaust Notes!
 

hey all

well theres a thread for what the cars look like and we all ask "what will this kind of exhaust system sound like on my car??" But theres no thread as to what different exhaust setups and combos sound like....

here are my 2 clips...well lets see if they work first

nothing special, inside shots, moderate throttle moderate revs. Just to show what it sounds like with the factory air restrictor off and half inch oversize plumbing on otherwise stock exxhaust

ill post another similar vid when I get the header on.

EDIT:People should have to say what engine,and other mods have been done when they post a clip....like Sykikchimps 5Zigen sounds nice...but what engine and other mods?

possibly an intake, but I'm sure nothing other than that. My 5zigen fireball sounds the same way. I LOVE IT.

yea i love the 5z sound on my s14, with an intake it sounds sorta more like "scratchy throat", i love it but to me it sounds like when you trying to clear your throat you know (fuck that came out weird.... :loco: )

the first one of the red car sounds like ish in my opinion but the ones where your going fast have a nice sound to em

many others but these affect sound, and it sounds sweet:)

It's...not the same car.

It's all the same car, and the one that sounds like "ish" is the one where I'm probably going my fastest.

Oh, I thought he was comparing the 5 Zigen clip (which was installed on a red car) to your clips.

is that on an N/A KA24DE ??

Hey man,can you define "straight through muffler" a little more? Like where somebody could get one like that or whatever....(IE the MRC muffler from eBay,or whatever)

Sounds awsome,is why I'm wondering:)(Right now,I'm trying to decide between amuffler like yours,and a rather large one that looks like a smaller version of the Blitz Nurspec)

OK this is my s14 with an HKS hyper cat back, 3" piping, magnaflow res., high flow cat, note the car is cold so it is a little raspy but still good and I know I need ne shoes chill, enjoy.

im about to get my SR20DET in my car and was wondering if it sounds anything like a KA motor? i like the way my old KA sounded a lot or if you have an exhaust note of an SR plz post i would like to hear it.. thanx

Apexi PS (??) Revolution..i have recently heard of it...it sounds stock but once it goes passed 3000 rpms, the valve or somethin in the exhuast gets pushed opened and it sounds crazy
