I think car meets are kinda dumb.

Both..It depends on the community, and its nice to see what cars are really around town that you may not know about.

its always good to meet new people and see cars, esp when the people on the forums are dicks and they dont talk shit when you meet them in person

It's nice to go to meets. Some people do stay in their circles but me n my friends kinda walk around looking at the cars and then depending where the meet is at I'll go munch and then ask somebody about something they got on their car. I've met many good people and some bad people but it doesn't stop me from going to meets as long as I'm not buggin anyone else.

car meets are kinda boring, ill go every now and then to say hi to some friends, but id rather go cruise with other cars down the strip lol. but if i where to choose id say i would rather see the cars, to me thats the point of the meet, to see other peoples cars. but maybe thats just me

Seriously, as I walk around and talk with a few people here and there, every group is talking shit about everybody else's car..
Meets just feel like a high school thing, so I grab up my buds and my wife and I go out to eat. Parking lots are for parking, not standing around :p.

So cal meets are just lame now. They are full of stupid honda owners thinking revving and burning out is a must. thats why i rarely go to meets, and if I do, I know its an organized meet that is well regulated. I been to the 626 meet on friday nights, and thats is one of the best meets i have gone too. very chill people, friendly environment and everyone has a great time there. even my wife enjoys it... lol
