Swap issues
 

Sooo i bought a running 95 s14 se original 5 speed.
Noticed the dash harness was janky and had a few exposed wires , so looked and looked couldn't find a manual main harness (dash).
Bought a 95 se AUTO dash harness car will turn all accessories on
But will not turn starter over at all and when you go to turn the key off and pull it out everything stays on as if key was left in and on ..

I have ran 12v straight to starter (with key in on position) car starts and runs.
clutch does not need to be pressed in.....

Sooo full manual car without manual dash harness any ideas on no start issue ?

Possibly looking for the park switch or the clutch switch to send the start signal.

That is where I would start, look in the FSM and chase the wiring diagram for both the auto and manual and see if you are missing one or the other. IIRC it passes from the IGN switch to either of those safety switches before hitting the starter relay.
