Loose chassis issue

I have a 91 RHD s13. Completely stock suspension, 18in wheels. My issue is when I hit the right size bump or dip, if feels like my back end jerks over to the right and then feels like it goes right back to feeling planted. Did a visual check at arms and such, but everything seems normal. Happens when driving straight. Everything seems solid if I slalom the car some, just happens on the right size bump or dip. Any thoughts? Its pretty noticeable to the point that my wife asked about it while riding, without me ever mentioning it to her.

I can guarantee you will need to replace some of your stock suspension arms, look for damaged / worn bushings, if you have a pry bar jack your car up and start prying at all suspension components, putting stress on the rubber bushings until you find your culprit.

Don’t forget to also check your shocks

subframe bushings may be worn as well, and/or steering rack.

This. I had this exact same issue, and once I bought in my solid risers, the issue went away. When I dropped my subframe, one of my bushings literally fell out of the subframe.

I'll have to check, it would explain why I cant wiggle the rear wheels at all....

Shocks are definitely needing replacing. Have some new coilovers order. That being said, seems odd that an issue with the shocks would cause a horizontal issue 🤔

FOLLOWING.... My car has the same issue, but I just got mine on the road so I'm taking on 1 battle at a time.

Installed my new coilovers and fixed the issue!
