ok, so if you live in the pensacola/crestview area you most probaly know that we have a 1/8 mile track in hold (Emrald coast dragway) well we are hold another anual grudge weekend. but now they are allowing us to have a FEELER drift event in the back of the parking lot. if i all goes good with the turn out for the drifters, the owner will hold more events / make a drift area.

This one will most likely suck like 1 or 2 turn but its just a FEELER so please come out and support our area for more drift events!!!

On I-10 take the Holt exit, (Exit 45), go North approximately 1 mile to Highway 90. Turn west and go approximately 2.8 miles
to the Okaloosa / Santa Rosa County line. Turn left onto Garner Landing Road. The track will be one mile down on the left

wish there was more notice of this.

wish there was drifting on a regular basis. but it gives me a reason to want to ge the car up and going

should be like 8 or 9 from my area coming up there.

any idea on what requirements are needed? obviously a helmet and no leaks from your car.

Im sure just DOT approved would be good enough. I talked with Emerald Coast Dragway and drifting will be held on Sat the 20th. The approximate driver fee will be $30 and spectator fee of $10. If theres enough support then they are willing to jump on the drift scene full swing.

Hell yeah guys thanks soo much for the support of this event im good friends with the track owner and he is 100% on board for the future events, he is also really open to ideas me and a few buddys have got him talked into a S turn and a horse shoe. i cant wait to see every body out there come hit me up whern ur there ill be in a s14 with lime green wheels

We are all pretty excited for this. Even if its only a single turn first event, that means reverse entry practice! And if they are willing to do a horse shoe and S turn why not incorporate them and do a horseshoe sweeper into an S or something.. Just a thought.

what time does it start and how much? my car is not drift ready so i might be watching.

Would also like to know the times please.

i am having a meeting with richard the owner on sunday to set up the course and i will post times and actul prices for each part of the day (drift,draf, or show)

hey while your there could you verify that a dot helmet is accepted to pass tech. i just want to know for sure i dont want to go up with one then fail tech because it needs some snell rating as well.

With only one to two turns you might not need many tires.. Im gonna bring a few sets atleast still though. Never know..
