Good Shop in NYC
 

Hey whats up guys looking for a good shop that deals with our type of cars. i dont have aynthing crazy, sr20 no mods and shit. just looking for someone reliable and knows what they doing. i like to go to shop where im not the only 240 there. in the nyc long island area

try Tantrum Auto in Queens...i haven't any personal experience, but i know they do deal with 240s.

My man Johnny at Sierra Auto in Orange County, middletown. He deals with imports and we built my sr20 there a few years back. 845-597-1264.

trt is gone...you can come to MR performance in Mineola or tarmac motorsports in farmingdale

Kings motor works in Brooklyn 62nd and 9th ave. Not strictly performance so prices are pretty decent. The master mechanic gets flown out for formula d events every year. Hes has a lot of experience with just about everything. Just ask for loon tell them Kevin with the s13 sent you.

Anybody know where the guys from heavythrottle in Poughkeepsie went? Or a good shop in westchester,Putnam,dutchess,orange area?

to can even try d1 auto repair in queens.they work on alot of 240`s aswell

There's also a few places in NJ. Depending on what you need or want will decide who to go too.

i can safely say d1 in freshpond area and tarmac in farmingdale

tarmac hands down, fuck tantrum the owner will rip you off something serious trust me i kno,,, go to tarmac tho they do great work n i wouldnt go ne where else

RPM MOTORSPORTS in Queens village. they have done many swaps.

D1 in queens is not bad.
Trantrum doesn't exist anymore and haven't since dec 2010.

I never dealt with tarmac before and I heard mix reviews on them.

tarmac is hands down the best shop on long island. no hype. all fact.

if anyone had trouble with the guys at tarmac it was probably because they either couldnt afford it or they bought crap parts.

i need ecu tuning..cant get my car started.Any places in jersey so i can get it towed in..sorry kinda paranoid about getting my car stolen or tampered with.any way I can just bring the ecu in? really need some honest opinions and an honest shop.I need to drive my car everyday and its all I have.so if theres a shop that will keep my car safe and work on it great please point me in their direction
