So one of my sidemarker fender lights on my S14 Kouki went out, and from what I see, theres no way to remove it without detaching the fender. Is this the only way replace it or is there some other method I missed?

No, that isn't the only way to remove the light.

If you have access to the Factory Service Manual (FSM) you will find out how to remove it.
