Rims/Tires and rear lights stolen Riverside
 

Sucks for this to be my first post, but I just got this car from my buddy a couple of weeks ago since my old corolla is a piece. It happened last night, and I had to work this morning so I didn't have a chance to look it over all that well, they tried to steal it and broke the ignition, took my 5zigen FN01R-C 17" rims and kumho tires, as well as my kouki rear lights. I am a noob so i don't know all the details of the lights, my buddy knows but he's in Korea right now and so I have to wait until he calls me or gets online so I can get more info on it. They bent the shit out of my e-brake too. At least they left my lug nuts.

was it parked outside the house?
what part of riverside?

it was parked in the driveway as is. I'm over by the tyler mall. yeah sux pretty bad. lesson learned, gotta get an alarm or something.

Like I said, I just got the car, barely had enough money for it and registration fees and to put it on my insurance, liability no less. I was planning on taking it on Monday, since I got paid today, and getting an alarm. The nuts were scattered on the lawn. I did have lock nuts, but I got home from work at about 1am and forgot the lug key in the car.

yeah I haven't owned the thing 2 weeks yet and it happened. I can't say if it had any special marks, the wheels had some curb damage but nothing special I can think of. And yup right in the goddam driveway.

That's like 3rd or 4th one in Riverside/IE area in couple months. Sucks to hear. Thieves should get their hands cut off!

Did you file a police report? Should have also had the police print the lugs, car, jack, etc.

police report was filed, crooks used gloves, no fingerprints anywhere.

damn dude ALOT of 240s are getting stolen and stripped in riverside. 2 of my friends already got theirs stolen. and i got my radio stolen about a year ago back. now i GARAGE my s13. you guys should too or put it in your backyard somehow. im going to invest in a lojack soon
