s13 with sr20det with apexi pfc idling problem!
 

Hello guys i have a sr20det build mated with the power fc. My problem is i cannot get the idling rpm under 1300. As soon as i command lower rpms the car is hunting like mad. i did the idling learning procedure a few times with no avail. I tried to manually set the idle through the idle screw but the screw seems to have no effect on the car. i looked for a vacuum leak but there is none. can it be that the apexi cannot handle the idling of the sr20det? Thanks!

have you tried adjusting the throttle plate? any codes set?

yes i tried also with the throttle plate no effect either. What makes me mad is that the idle was perfect with the oem ecu.

"Apparently" power fc setting for idle is a pain in the ass...so i was told qnd explained...ull need someone to tune the idle...

Perhaps a forum member that has done it here. Because there isnt any tuner in germany that works with apexi pfc as i asked around.
