Daigo Saito's FD 2012 car.
 

I'm sure most of you have already heard the rumors of of Diago running a Z40 Soarer for Formula D 2012. Some people said V8 which was always wrong from the beginning, Diago only builds 2j's, so without further a due.

Here it is in all of its 1200hp glory.

It was Doriten 2 months ago. The car has changed alot since though. There was some engine parts changed (Turbo) and some other details. Originally the Turbo choice was a greddy T88 but he's since chosen a larger garret unit to achieve the power goals, 3.4 liter as well. I think the spoiler got bigger haha.

Can't wait for all those tube frame nascars to get taken out by something that more closely resembles a drift car.

Those definitely looks like Hankook RS3s, probably a 285 since Hankook doesn't make a 275 in 18s.

There are no tube frame cars in FD. Look at how those drift cars are put together and take a look at the FD rulebook...

On another note It's cool to see Daigo running events here in the US. This season is going to be fun to watch.
