Windshield seal s13?
 

Just got my car painted. Painter removed the windshield molding and the molding retainer. Below is currently how the windshield is. Just trying to figure out what I need to do and order.

1. Does the windshield need to be pulled?
2. Can I reuse the old moldings and just buy a new molding seal?
3. Do I need the windshield dam weatherstrip too?

yeah windshield needs to be pulled to do it right. you don't have to spend 300 bucks on a new oem seal if you don't want to, you can get generic stuff that won't look 100% oem, but it does the job and looks fine. Talk to your glass guy, he should be able to help you out.

I used the smooth generic T-molding type when I had my windshield replaced too. Only downside is driving in the rain there's no lip to route water up the windshield, so it just goes right in the door window if it's cracked.
