can anyone recommend a reputable shop where I can resleeve, bore and balance an SR engine? here in socal 562.

Try Johnson from Shutoko Engineering. out in La Puente, he's decent in pricing but backs his work 100%

he's currently building my 2j bottom up. He tells it how it is and always good for advice as well.

he's old school guy. Awkward at first but once he opens up he's dope as hell. owns a NSX and Supra. Cars in his shop range from evo's to r34's and 240's. Let me know if you end up going!

Animal Auto, Andrew did a full rebuild with forged internals on my RB, He's also worked on my S15 has always done great work. Really great dude. He works on everything from SRs,RB,JZ,LS and more I'm sure.
