Am I the only one wondering WHY?????? Why put $30k motor into a 20 year old chasis? An LSx or a 2Jz swap I can understand as those motors are relatively inexpensive, but this?

I'll confess: I HATE their GTR's aero. Shits gross to me. But this S13 aero looks like an amazing take on an old ass cult classic.

I am in love with those renderings. I really hope it turns out nearly as sick. I'm also curious about what trans they're using though.

Looking forward to seeing this car tomorrow at TAS. Gonna be a very big headline at the show, can see them winning a few awards as well.

Regardless of what happens to the shell (wrecked, whatever), that motor is still a $30k motor. its not like the second it gets dropped into a S13 that its worthless :P.

Heck if I had the money, I'd be doing swaps like this all day. When I get bored of a shell, pull the motor and throw it into the next thing.

And from the looks of things, It's still not finished. I mean, It probably runs... but it's pretty beat and rough around the edges. I bet it's gonna look even lovelier when they finish it. I couldn't even guess what width tires they're running...

Speedhunters is reporting that it was specially built for some top speed challenge. Lets hope it doesn't disintegrate while it tries to break records.
