New york fishing spots
 

any one know about real good fishing spots out in new york (the 5 boro's please) where i can go this weekend.

story is that my girlfriends been bugging me all week about taking her fishing for hert time. her 1st sugestions was to take one of them boats out on sheepshead bay (brooklyn) to go deep blue, albocore, tuna ext fishing but i dont think thats a good idea for a noob. and i know she'll get violently sea sick ruining the trip lol.

SOOOOOOOO what i was thinking is that we go pear, beach or fishing on the rocks 1st

anyone know any good spots where the fish are plentiful lol

WTF I guess it's the fish market for us..

take it too the bay on a mild day you'll have a blast

not sure which spots exactly but i know you guys have some big striped bass over there on the eastcoast. find a good charter and you'll be on the fish in no time.

stripers are pretty much done
i went out of captree (jones beach) on a full day party boat a couple weeks ago for fluke.. going again next weekend

its pricey tho, like 70 before pools, tips, food, etc

rockaway beach got some good fish nice striped bass and blues

blues are a fun catch but they taste like SHIAT!
