Drifting in Columbus Wisconsin
 

Legit drifting in Columbus Wisconsin (Columbus 151 Speedway). They are doing it every Thursday from 5pm to dark. I went yesterday and it was 15.00, cheap fun. 7 cars showed up (it was the first night they did this) (4) 240's (2) bmw's (1) Corolla Ae86. Was a blast, if you live near madison Wi you need to hit this up. We got all the track time we wanted, some close calls, fans in the stands to clap when you spin out, was bad ass. See you there.

damn thats hella cheap wish we had a local track that charged that amount

Yea every thursday, rain or shine, freestyle 15.00 drifting, and its pretty laid back.

I'm going this thursday. I was there the first day. Red hatchback 240sx. Will be there this thursday with at least 2 other cars.

Hey Man. You missed a fun practice/event.. A guy was there from Rockford with a fast sr20 powered s13, there was another corolla, Kyle was drifting junk tires he picked up from the wall...was a good night. There are a pair of videos on youtube. search Kyle Drifting 151 speedway, and Max drifting 151 speedway. Schells, this is going on every thursday at 5pm till dark, bring tires cuz you get alot of time to drift, its bad ass and well worth the money. Bring a helmet! They have AUTO Cross on Tuesday nights now too, 5 to dark, 15.00......Im tempted to go...

damn this is bad ass. i gotta pick up some new tires and head over there.

Yea I will be there THursday, Im just trying to get some tires together right now, I have 4 stock aluminum rims, and snaggin up some used 205/60/15's to go on them, i used a pair of 2/32 tires this last thursday and felt like a pro, it was too easy to drift those banana peals...I'm gonna do it again

What safety reqs do they have?

helmet is all, and if you have anything in your car...water bottles, tools, anything loose needs to come out and you can put it off to the side in the pits.

how far is this from philly might be worth coming up just to play for a day

Hopefully more people get out and go to this. I really don't want it to end. The price is unbeatable. I just feel that they aren't advertising it well enough, and that they should be doing this on weekends as well.

Looks like it'll be thunderstorming around 5. So unlelss that somehow changes i probably wont be out there today.

I didn't go either, they were under severe weather watches in Beaver Dam, the area had some bad weather

Yeah i'm gonna try and go in 8-4 instead of my 1-9 shift. So i hopefully can get there around 5:30-6ish.

That sucks no lights were turned on. That's the only reason i even went that late. I got there at 8 because of work and i was under the impression the lights would be on. Oh well. I got one run in for free since he gave me my cash back because of it.

Yea I was disappointed as well, I had a perfect set of tires I had just mounted up and I was ready to throw down...I got there 2 hours late anticipating some night action. Oh well I had fun, that v8 s14 has me thinking I need an Ls1...but i dont know.

Im probably gonna hit up the autocross on tuesday....I had a good time last tuesday. To think i used to pay 20.00 in the dells to race a go cart around a track 5 times...I just really like to drive my car fast and you can't beat 15 bucks for track time, I hope more tracks start doing this cuz im free on wednesdays!
