oem kh3 (superblack) is the hottest color ever

I really like the paint on my '98 Jeep Cherokee. On cloudy days it has a maroon look to it, but on sunny days, it's a fantastice metallic red with yellow pearl. Looks great in the sun.

This pic doesn't really do it justice, but you can see the pearl in the front fender.

i used to work for Mitsubishi, i think the dark red as pictured is actually called Ultra Red Pearl, the patriot is just a regular bright red. the ultra is available on the new eclipses as well.

Nope. That's what I thought when I bought the car too. The other red was called Sorano Red or something like that. You would think the reg. red would be the Patriot color, but it's opposite.

I like the fact that it's a solid color that looks just about the same all throughout the day unlike other paint jobs that look orange-ish at night.

My car will be dipped in Redline next month.

Chrysler paint code "PXR". Comes on alot of Dodge cars but makes the lame ass Charger look sexy.

It is by far the sexiest variation of black I have ever seen.

This color will be on my car for a long time unless I run into another black that makes me wet.

try looking at a Subaru color called "midnight black pearl" it was the old color of the 2003-2003 bugeyed wrx's and the current color of my roof lol. it's a black with a blue pearl in it. looks black at night until it's in the light same for the day time too unless the sun hits it jussttt right.

Silver Moss Metallic. Paint Code KR5. The only car I've personally ever seen it on in person other than my S13 was a 1997 S14, but I do believe it came on the 98's as well. It's one of those paints you have to see in person to get the full guage of the color spectrum IMO.

Also with Nissan colors you have to have an exact Year and Model as color codes change by both. Most paint shops will have a better result in their paint book with the Make,Model,Year.

I've always liked this color that the Beetle came in. It's called Vapor Blue Metallic or just Vapor. And IIRC the color was only availible as an online purchase. Paint Code is LG5A. This is another one of those colors you have to see to appreciate.

i wanna do the oem pearl white that came on my hatch but now i'm thinking sumthing a lil more white.

This color is kind of a combo of white, gray, and blue. It sorta reminds me of a cloudy and foggy day. But not gloomy.

I've definitely decided on doing a pearl of some sort. BUT, how do you think it'll turn out if I don't do my jambs? The car is currently the OEM pearl. And the jambs are in really nice clean shape. I don't think it'll be too bad. It might not even be noticeable from a distance.

my car is the pearl and i don't really notice much pearl in the jams. i don't think it would matter much. i def want to paint my car that IS white but im too lazy

i doubt it will be noticeable from up close, either.

cadillac has a fantastic pearl white too. Can't find a decent pic right now, but it's a warmer pearl white.

i would think it looks like those dull pearl white color.

not really a champagne but more just a plain white pearl, but sometimes with the sunrise/sunset/softer lighting it kinda looks goldish. look at the hatch area, the drivers side isnt a good representation. its GM's Diamond White Tri-Coat

White base, light gold pearl, frost blue pearl, and Prizmatique microflake. (Also, an embarrassing amount of dirt from sitting in the garage for months - not part of the paint job.)

Light coloured pearls, and having blue & gold helps the bike look whiter than just a normal gold pearl.
