Frame Rails
 

The frame rails under the body of my s13 are crushed. It is my understanding that since it a unibody car, the frame rails act as more of an exoskeleton. If they are crushed, and I get in an accident, will the car crumple easier, or will it be the same as when they weren't crushed? Also, I have read that you can get replacement frame rails, but all I have seen were ones towards the front of the car, not in the middle. Does anyone make replacement rails?
