Difference in ka24 and sr20 intercoolers

Is there a difference between the ka24 and sr20 intercoolers? For example, if I'm building a KA-T, can I use an sr20 intercooler setup?

You can use sr20 intercooler, you would want to use s13 SR piping tho, due to the throttle body of the s13 SR and ka throttle body being in a similar orientation.

Only time it makes a difference is when you're using side mount piping.

I have an s14 with KA-T used all s13 SR piping and core.
