Trip meter doesn't work but Odometer works
 

My trip meter stopped working a couple days ago. I thought it was connected on the same mechanism as the Odometer. The Odometer and Speedometer both work. Any tips on how to the fix the trip meter??

Acquire a new meter would be the easiest solution. It's not any way hard to roll back/forward the numbers to match your current numbers either.

Oh ok thanks, is there a rise I could damage the odometer if I change out the trip meter?

They are both built within the same contraption.
